Either one goes for Computers or Architecture, presently both have excellent career options. Personally, I feel that opting for Architecture is better to avoid being part of the crowd. In computers, it is much more likely that one is going to be an employee forever and market forces / factors may also decide its fate in future because it falls in international business field. Whereas as an Architect, one can work for someone or become an Entrepreneur - where sky is the limit.

A career in architecture can be immensely rewarding. As an architect you can do a wide range of projects - designing offices or institutions, malls, auditoriums, hotels, villas, apartment blocks or group housing to interior works like show-rooms, restaurants as well as speciality projects like slum re-housing, urban-scape, post-disaster rehabilitation and reconstruction (of earth-quake, cyclone or tsunami affected areas) etc. etc. There are very few professions that offer such a wide range of scope. You can work for an established architectural firm. After gaining some experience you may like to start your own concern. The satisfaction of seeing a building built according to your design and finding that the users of that building like it is immense. If you are creative and willing to work hard this is a profession that you may seriously consider. Also don't forget that use of computers in architecture is becoming more and more wide-spread, you can become a real wizard for CAD application including animation (creating "walk-throughs" etc.), if you wanted.
