It means that you don't have to be Christian to be a good person.
That, or in sixty days all the water on earth will turn into fire and the human race will die out, giving way to an advanced civilization of cockroach-like life forms via a dimensional rift made when the last person on earth fuses their blood with that of a transsexual chinchilla.

Huh? It means the same thing as when a Christian gives blood, or signs an organ donor card, that someone will get a needed organ to save a life....

For a non-Christian to donate blood is the same as Christians, the blood will be checked for disease. If they sign an organ donor card, again it will be tested for disease if they die.........I hope.

It would appear you have been told that non-christians are bad people and you actually find it amazing that a non-christian would do something good for others.
I have never seen any honest statistics on the subject, but most of the people I deal with are non-christians and I find them to be more giving and caring than the christians I have dealings with.
You do not have to be a christian to be a good, honest and decent person. In fact, my dealings with christian companies has been so horrid I will not do business with any company that has to use their religion to try to get customers.
Yet I know all christians are not bad. You can not determine whether a person is good or bad based on their religious beliefs.

Uh... it means that we care about other people, I suppose. I know that I signed an organ donor card because I sure as heck won't be needing my organs after I'm dead, and perhaps someone else will. Why shouldn't I give it to them when they're in need and I no longer am?

I can only answer for myself...
When I donated blood/ platelets (I no longer can due to medical issues) I did it because I wanted to help others..
I checked the donor slot on my drivers license because once I am dead if someone else can use my parts let them I don't need them anymore... It may help someone else live a longer life..

Well the donated blood will go to save the lives of approximately three people; and if the organs are in good condition then they will save the lives of some, the sight of others and improve quality for others. By signing they are also relieving their family of the awesome burden of deciding for them.

It means that they are donating their blood and donating their organs because they signed the card.

You mean other humans that have blood and organs? What is your point? Are you saying nonchristians are not as good as christians and should not donate blood or organs?
