No matter what anyone says-THERE IS NO MAGIC PILL OR DIET THAT WILL MAKE YOUR HAIR GROW FASTER. Hair grows on average of half an inch per month. YOUR hair will grow at the rate it grows and nothing will change that. The best thing you can do is keep your hair healthy and create a healthy plateau (your scalp) for hair to grow on. Many, many shampoos contain laurel sulfate or laureth sulfate. These ingredient dry your hair. Other shampoos contain harsh detergents. I just conditioner wash (just use conditioner and skip shampooing) every couple of weeks. I deep condition once a month. Try and stay away from heat. That's it. Be patient. If you are constantly looking at hair growth, it will seem to grow slower and slower. I know it's hard, but try not to think about it. Another thing is to eat healthy and get your eight to ten glasses of water a day. This will help grow hair that doesn't split or break (which is important for long strands). The less you do to your hair, the better.

Hair growth depends on various factors. First and foremost you got to keep it clean. Then How you style your hair. For example if you make tight plaits, then chances that hair may break. Also don't keep tight slides or clips. Do not brush your hair with hard tooths. Also don't brush if tangle is there. Pl do not wash your every day. You can wash your hair may be about 3 times a week. Also ensure to have reguler hair cut. This is very very necessary. Don't go for long cut. Just 1/2 inch trim will do. Before you got for hair cut, please wash the hair first, Dry out then neatly for for hair trim. Before washing please apply oil and massage and keep for about for 1 hour or so. Also take lot of vitamins and vegetables and fruits. Good look. Enjoy long hair.

Well to keep your hair clean is good but there is a point where you can over do it. First of all is your diet. Eat a well balanced diet with plenty of protein, fruit and vegetables. Second, is to protect your hair from the sun by wearing hat and have your hair regularly cut to prevent split ends. Your hair will only grow only 1/2" per month. So if you want very long hair but right now your hair is short remember to be patience. Good luck

Washing your hair everyday makes your hair dry and makes it break off easier if you wash it every other day the natural oils in your hair come out and make it healthier but to make you hair grow faster it needs to be trimmed every six weeks.
