Gray or white hair is called Canadies. It is caused by age, stress, and DNA or hereditary traits. There is nothing you can do but cover it but what for? It is ok.
You need to know though... that the hair grows out of the follicle like that. It begins at the root.
Anderson Cooper has premature gray. He still is a very attractive man. He is not even 35 but he looks very distinctive and dignified.
Use the hair to your advantage! It can always be used for topic of conversation or table talk!

Of course, genetics are the first answer, but what happens to cause gray hair is the loss of calcium in the hair. No amount of calcium taken after the hair goes gray will restore the color. But it will affect the rest of the body positively. The earlier a person begins to go gray, the more likely they are to have osteoporosis. The loss of calcium indicates this.

It's probably Stress.

I would agree with Nikki's answer, but, I'm 40 and my mother is in her 70's and has Very little grey hairs. Her's are extremely light colored where as mine are bright as the sun .
Not sure what happened there...

but I really think Stress has a lot to do with it.

Color it. It will take longer than ordinary hair. White doesn't like to absorb the color. We don't know what causes it. When I was young there was a man that flirted. I thought he was a dirty old man. He was my age. Then there was my Mom, 83 years old with brown hair.
