When my dad passed away people started being more careful with me and what they say around me because it mite hurt me like for example talking about dad's or families.OH and yes you would have lots of breakdowns no matter if you are a strong person or a weak person you will breakdown. And your life will change allot and the way you see life and the way you even look at people.

You might feel a hundred different feelings, all in a row. Or, nothing at all, kind of shocked out of any reaction or feeling.
Grief is a very unique, personal process. There is no 'right' or 'wrong' way to grieve. Every single person deals with it differently and in their own time.
People around you would treat you differently, too, depending on who they were, how you were behaving, how they think you might be feeling, and where they're at in their own personal grieving process.
I'm sure that some people might be worried for your emotional health, worried about how you're going to deal with it, hoping that they will be able to help you if you need it, hoping that you make it through and know you can turn to them for help.
