You should not go so often becuase you do not need to,! besides all the obvious reason, (cancer, wrinkles, ect..) I would suggest an airbrush tan from a proffessional you can get at a salon or in your home, this tan will last about 7-10 days, so you dont have to tan so often, and most importantly it is safe, sunless DHA solution is applied to the skin for instant results.

Certain salons will let you tan excessively, without goggles, and for more minutes than any person should tan in one sitting. Don't be fooled! Just because you 'can' doesn't mean you should!! Be aware of your skin and it's changes. It's not a bad idea to give your skin a break inbetween sessions. Make sure you stay moisturized (in fact, lotion up before you get in a bed, you're color will last longer and you'll develop it faster). Lotion eradicates the dead skin on the top of your skin which can block up to 50% of the rays that bring you color. Try some of the salons lotions that have cooling hemp and skin protectants in them also to preserve your skin!

A couple things to keep in mind are if the beds have new bulbs in them, and how sensitive you skin is. If you dont tan much, just make sure you are not in the bed for very long... Maybe 10-15 minutes at first. I also reccomend that you use a type of lotion that helps with the taning process, has a bit of UV block, and also has a special mixture to keep your skin healthy. Hence, you may be looking at more expensive bottles of lotion, but it will pay off in the long run =)

I have one question do you loose your tan every other day? You should tan every time your tan begins to fade as long as you are still tan you don't need to tan again. I hope you can keep a tan longer than two days if not you are probably over exposing yourself, which could result in skin cancer or other problems.

I went for a week this spring, because I had an event coming up [I was going to be in a bikini.]

I went tanning everyday for a week, 8 minutes increasing to 10 minutes gradually.

Also, the type of lotion you use can increase your bronzing result.

Hope I helped :]

Ideally, you shouldn't go at all. But, if you must; once a week.
