It's called Safi. and the bottle is packed without a broken seal or anything..but it does not have an expiration date on it...it says : "date packaged: October 2005"...and since its already 2007, i don't know if it's a good idea to take that medicine. And, it's not an over the counter medicine from the Pharmacy or anything...i got it from an indian store.

Looking at the expirary date is always the best for safety reasons before taking any medicine. Safi I believe is a kind of an Indian herbal Medicine and is used by Ayurvedic Medicine. Its production date is written but not the expiry. I would not take it not unless I will know how long from the production date it is valid. I doubt a herbal medicine could last for two years but better not to take it unless you got confirmation.

never use medicine that is past experation. it is typically still good for a few months afterwards but i wouldnt risk it. in your case its years over the date so just throw it away, its no good and i would not advise taking it.

I personally wouldn't take it. But, call your local pharmacist... it's their specialty and they shouldn't mind helping you out. They can give you a better answer than anyone here. :)
