I am usually in the 180 range (I'm 5'8' and I know that even sounds a little heavy, but that weight was great with me) and since I've had my baby, I can't seem to get below the 211 mark! Someone please help with some tips for some quick relief! Thanks...

I find dieting doesn't ever really work. It's gotta be a whole lifestyle thing (it blows, I know). If you can afford a system that sends you your food (they run about $34 a day) that can help with portion control. Otherwise, just gotta eat smaller portions, snack on veggies, etc.

Really, for me, the only thing that works is exercise. When I'm active I lose weight so much faster. Take up whatever exercise (walking with the baby, Soccer Mom Soccer, get an iPod nano and the Nike + system and get into challenges, etc.) works for you and try and stick to it. Also, don't get even more stressed by worrying if you have to miss a workout 'cause everyone has to once in a while.

I found that I lost about 15lbs really quick, while the rest took a little longer to come off. Good luck and ENJOY the curves (so jealous....)

1.Water ALL the time. Occasionally unsweet tea or black coffee and only skim milk.

2.Portion control. I cannot stand to count calories, so the best thing for me is to have smaller portions of healthy stuff. Make sure there is color on your plate.

3. Start walking 15-30 minutes a day and increase to an hour. Walk briskly and challenge yourself if you can by altering the terrain. In example, take a qucik jog up that grassy hill off the sidewalk etc...

4.Pilates at home. You don't have to buy a work out or even know the "right way". Just stretch and move your body in ways that feel comfortable to you. You will notice yourself getting more limber quickly.

I got up to 215 while preggo and lost 35 immediately but it took me 8 months to shake that last 15 pounds to get back to my size. You'll get there!

After having kids it is very typical to get to your pre kids weight and stay there. Don't become so caught up with weight that it ruins your life. However, if it really does give you confidence then some women i know have gotten personal trainers and they really work. Also make sure you diet and excersize properly. By the way, congragulations on the new baby!

Remember, weight isn't everything!

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

My field is in fashion, as a result many people ask me how they can slim down. My answer is always the same: good diet and exercise. But I found this great product which I think helps a lot in the process. I recommend you check this website
http://www.hawkeyep.info , they give you a free trial of Hoodia, a free diet guide, and a free recipe booklet. You only pay $7.99 shipping and handling. Good luck!
