He got fined $100,000, docked 100 points, and lost his crew chief for 6 weeks. Does anyone disagree with this. I dont. NASCAR has finally proven it dont matter who you are, you will get punished!

I think that is show that the most popular driver and his crew better stick with the news that he is not bigger than the sport. He could always drive another type of car I am sure, but he be as competitive as he is right now in NASCAR. I am sure that all the drivers would have gotten this, no matter who they are and how much the spotlight is on them. I do not think that drivers will push the envelope for a while on parts and fluids like they have in the past. I agree with NASCAR!!!!!!!!

All of the drivers were told right from the get go, that the new car of the future didn't need any altercations made to the body and if any were found there would be heavy penalties, the tail or fin on the back of Jr's car did not need a damn thing done to it, it was made for the car and they changed it anyway so penalty stands

The intent of the offense was pretty blatant, so the fine's/suspension/points were needed. If it had been a smaller team the results would have been devastating, but DEI can afford it.Besides think back when #48's crew chief was suspended, with technology the way it is he was virtually there every race.

yeah, I heard about it. I don't think the penalty should have been so severe though. He at least didn't put jet fuel in the gas tank!!! LOL I believe no one is above the rules and regulations. Just I understand some get better treatment than others. When Tony Stewart talked trash about Nascar. He definitely got penalized for speeding down pit row on the next race though. Watch your p's and q's don't tick Nascar off......

I am a #24 fan it was too harsh but i think Nascar decided if they wanted to make an example of someone he would be the last person anyone would think they would do it to. So everyone now knows it makes no difference who you are or what your last name is.

dont matter who you are....yea right...WAKE UP...if oyu are not Hendricks you are a target. The interference on the wing did not help the car. Was stated on espn that Jr and Jr probably knew nothing about the thing...and teresa stays silent? yea right... Dale JR is paying the fine they hit Tony Jr with...get a grip

I think it was too harsh......
and why, out of all the fines that have been handed out, was Jeff Gordon not given a stiff fine? Everyone else had to suffer with stiff fines, but Gordon.

Do I feel bad for Jr. yes, do I like the guy? yes. But you can't be less strict just because of who he is. NASCAR had no choice but to make that kind of call. Too bad for Jr. though.
