In my opinion, NASCAR is too harsh with their penalties of $100,000 fine and a six-week suspension to Tony Eury, Jr., Dale Earnhardt, Jr.'s crew chief, and subtracting100 points from Junior.. That's too much for a set of incorrect bolts on the spoiler. What kind of an advantage do they think it would give the number 8 car?

To whom can we write at NASCAR to protest the punishment?

George

I am sorry, but didn't NASCAR give tons of warning after Daytona that any cheating would be dealt with severly and that penalties and fines where going to increase?

What makes Junior so special that the rules don't apply to him? Why should he get away with a blatant violation of the rules? You all talk about Gordon being a whiner; but listen to you right now.

At least Junior admitted his Team made a huge mistake and plans to rectify it. I am not a Junior Fan, but I admire that he is man enough to owe up to his mistakes and face the consequences. Maybe his Fans need to be more like him and stop sniveling like a bunch of babies.

Go ahead and protest. We could use a six week rest from all this beer throwing, junior high level trashing talking, conspiracy theory, whinning bull that Ya'll been dishing out this season. Please, boycott...go away for a while; maybe you'll grow up while you're out there.

Huh remember back at Daytona when Kenseth got docked points and lost his crew chief for 6 races for holes in his rims during qualifying and all you Jr fans laughed and said what a bunch of cheaters. Now how does it feel? But if your Jeff Gordon and win a Gatorade duel all with a car that was over an inch too low all he had to serve was start at the rear of the field in a restrictor plate race with no points deducted or fines or crew chief suspension. Just Hendrick boys doing what they do best and that's playing DUMB and nascar believes them. Piss on nascar and the Hendrick gay boys. Just shows you how bad nascar is sucking Hendrick you know what huh.

IT WAS NOT A BOLT FOR THE LAST TIME it was a bracket in which allowed better aerodynamics yes it was most likely a stupid mistake but nascar needs to start dishin out some hefty fines to all drivers or teams caught cheating and stay consistent if they dont then i start bytchin

I really do not know who you can write to and I am not a Jr. fan but I do believe that penalty is way too harsh. All they did was tweak the spoiler a little bit. I don't even think points should be taken away for that.

Why protest?
This sounds like the bleeding hearts that don't want Paris Hilton to serve time.
The team got caught,NASCAR has been looking for someone playing with the C O T,unfortunatly D E I got caught and an example was made.

i dont follow nascar that much, but i do see and listen to whatever news is going on , im thinking maybe he planned this because of how he hates his stepmother being in control of the franchise. maybe it was to get back at her?! i would do it if it was me.

Look at the Jr fans crying WAAA WAAA the 8 team broke a rule to get an advantage they CHEATED. NASCAR warned them, its their own fault.

Have you thought about holding your breath until NASCAR rescinds (removes or takes back) the penalty?

You can't protest, after all he isn't jeff gordon, who is the only one whom seems to get by with things. After all look @ what happen to tony stewart for freedom of speech. Once again they aren't jeff gordon.
