its spring time, and like most dogs, our husky is shedding. but it seems to be shedding its outter coat.
is this normal???? shes 1 years old. but her outter thick coat is comming out, and her very very thin undercoat is showing
is this "blowing"?
she recently gave birth to 7 so her breasts are big.
here is a pic

as you can see, the black is the undercoat, but the outter coat ( the grey and white) is shedding in chunks

Something similar to that happens with my husky mix...he looses his hair in clumps. Make sure she has a good diet though, like Canidae. If you really think there is a problem though, you should see a vet. However, she should have already seen a vet when the pups were born, so I'm sure if there was a problem the vet would have caught it.
Also, don't breed your dog...please get her fixed...there is no reason why you should put her through the pain of giving birth, and the pain she will experience from mammary tumors/cancer when she gets a little older (not spaying causes mammary tumors/cancer).
EDIT: I just realized you said she is only 1. I can't believe you let a 1 yr old dog get pregnant. Not even the AKC agrees with that!!!!

Well it probably a combination of her giving birth and the fact that its spring time. Most females will look just awful for a while while they are nursing. The trick is to keep their body weight up so they dont loose too much weight. That means feeding her high quality food and as much as she wants until she is done nursing. Offer her food and lots of water several times a day. You will learn how much she can eat then you can judge better. It took about a week for my females to really get into eating again after giving birth and then I just let them eat to their hearts content. It is much easier to reduce their food after all the nursing is done so dont worry about her getting fat ok. The more calories she has the better she will be able to produce all the milk her pups will need and then they wont deplete her of all her reserve body fat. She will look better to when nursing is finished.
She will get her beautiful coat back as soon as she is all done being a mom. It will take her a few months to do so.
Congratulations on the new family!

Very normal expectally spring time, they need to get rid of their winter coats fast and because it is so thick it does just come off in clumps.
I brush our Husky everyday during the spring and this helps eliminate the clumps of fur, and keeps him from looking so mangy.
Congrats on the new puppies!

For one, your Husky should not be having puppies at such a young age, it is very bad for the mother and puppies, plus you can't be sure of the mothers health until they are about 2. It is most likely a mix of loosing her puppy coat, the pregnancy, and her natural shedding.

It is probably normal they first of all blow their coat this time of year as wellas after having pups.
You should have mom and babes checked by a vet and they can tell you if it's a problem.
Prob. nothing to wory about but do you want to end up eith all ending up with something/

I don't have a husky, but I see a lot that look like this this time of year when I walk my own dogs.
If she's lactating it's likely to be worse. I never had puppies myself, but when I had a baby I lost a lot of hair.

Females with pups often totally blow coat. She sounds fine. I think it's a holdover from having to line a nest for the pups.
IMHO

yes, she is fine, often having pups gives a dog an awful amount of stress. As soon as she weans her puppies it should stop. we have had about 3 or 4 litters with rottweilers. it can happen to any breed. our dogs' vets have told us all of this. i hope this helps. good luck,
Marissa
