For the past week I have been stomach pains. I have been to the hospital and my Doctor they both said that my blood work looks good and that my white blood cell count was also good. The pain had first started in my left rib and went up into my left breastbone, that pain and started to go away then I noticed when I eat the pain would be on the left side below my ribs, today the pain seems to be going from side to side left to right and it is anywhere from under my breast to the bottom part of my belly area. I do have an IBS and Acid Reflux which I take prilosec for.I've also had a bit of a fever my normal temp runs about 96.5 but lately it has been between 97-99 the doctor doesnt seem to concerned like it is anything but I've never had stomach pain for a week. It does go away for a lil bit but it comes back. I just wanted to know if anyone has ever had this problem or may know what it could be?

IBS can cause pain In the stomach. Prilosec will not treat the IBS and you can run a mild fever from this. I have the same problem and what has helped me is changing my complete way of eating. I no longer suffer with pain. All of my symptoms have gone away. I'm enclosing a link to a website that gives the best information I have ever found on how to eat with IBS. I guarantee if you follow this Your life will change for the better.

I did. It sounds like gall bladder stones. If you eat fried food and it bothers you, thats the problem. They can disolve stones as long as there not too big with medication.
