Oh, that is all well and good, but, voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.
-Hermann Goring

Considering the current situation in Iraq and the hatred for immigrants in the U.S. and how much we hated nazi germany, isn't it ironic that we are using some of the exact same methods they used to control the people?

I am only saying we are using some of the same tactics as nazi germany, i'm not saying we are exactly like them, as you right wingers would like to think. How am I siding with Hermann Goring? That makes no sense.

The hatred for "illegals" will help nothing, if you really wanted to stop illegal immigration you would demand that your government stop exploiting their countries. They already have enough domestic problems without the U.S. coming and raping their natural resources. Notice that after NAFTA people started coming over here in massive numbers, hmmmmmmmm maybe that means that certain companies came in and made it worse in their countries.

furry- It is very difficult because we are exploited by the u.s in our countries, exploited here, and then denounced as the sole cause of this countries problems, we will not take this hypocrisy.

If you had read the question properly you would find out that his point was (however poorly written) was about middle east people becoming the brunt of American Juvenile instability.

He is also correct when he suggests that the US is using some of the methods that turned Germany fascist. Its good for a country which holds a lot of paranoia to enable them a focus for their fear..Thank God the Dixie Chicks had the daring to tell the truth about Bush. Its really quite refreshing.

If you read his question you will find no accusations that Bush and his crew were or are Nazis. He merely pointed out some strategies they are using are very similar to the ones Nazi strategies used in WW2.

The nazi's didn't invent anything here. They aren't Nazi tactics. All the Nazi's did was learned how to exploit HUMAN NATURE.
Every one of us has used a similar tactic to get somebody else to do something for us. Even religions do this. Worship our God or the devil will get your soul, and if you don't believe in our god, you are a sinner. Same thing you are talking about. Nothing new.

You are obviously another victim of the liberal propaganda machine. FYI, the President of the U.S. wants to give "illegal aliens " amnesty. Which many Americans feel is wrong.
I think we should treat "illegal aliens" like they do in Mexico.
Minumum 2-5 years in jail.
Isn't it neat to live in a country with liberty and freedom of speech. Like the Dixie Chicks, if I don't like your political views then I don't have to buy your product or listen to your music.
Its spelled Herman Goering - and you managed to put your own spin on that speech!

There is no hatred for immigrants in the US. There is a dislike for illegal aliens who cross our borders and think our laws don't apply to them. My wife is an immigrant. Her family are all immigrants. How would you feel if you had to wait 5 1/2 years to immigrate legally while others simply hopped across the border and demanded it? Anyway, to compare this to Nazi Germany is total and complete nonsense.

Why is it so difficult for you illegal immigrants to shut up and quit trying to become legal by the 'back door'? I say it again, illegal means against the law, not legal, which means to be one is to be a criminal no matter your reasons are. So quit trying to spin the way the Republican neo-cons spins the just and the truth.

The USA doesn't hate immigrants. They want to up hold their laws and not be run over by illegals, just like any other country.
We have always had legal immigrants and there is no reason for people to enter illegally.

The biggest fallacy of all the liberal rant is the Nazi comparison!!! Check out the countries that nationalize all industry..I.E. Cuba and Venezuela

Interesting that the person speaking this, arguing against it, is the person you are siding with.
Pacifism would have aided Nazi Germany. It's what almost lost us the war.

I'm sure he would appreciate your efforts.

Ironic that you mistook this for something else entirely.
