It's simply false.
"but simply that out of all known explanations for the universe, a Creator God makes the most sense when we properly use science and logic."
"A Creator God" is not an explanation for the universe. It's a non-starter. This is really just another statement of the "God of the Gaps" argument.

There really is NO argument. Despite what many others may or may not think, God is 100% Real. He is the Creator. God has always existed. This is impossible for Man to wrap his tiny little brain around, because to a Human, everything has a beginning and an end, and everything was created by something else. God is the Alpha and Omega (The Beginning and The End). There was no beginning for God, because He has always been. Way before there was ever such a thing as Religion or Science. Man will never be able to explain the existence of God, because God knows everything Man does, and much, much, more.
It's good to hear that you're thinking about giving God a chance to come into your life. As for the argument situation, I wish them luck.

A creator god makes the most sense? To who, a 5 year old child? No amount of science or logic could possibly come to that conclusion. If this weak and poorly constructed argument is making you rethink your atheism then good riddance.

How can you claim to have considered all of the other possibilities out of an infinite number of them?
For example have you considered:
http://arxiv.org/PS_cache/arxiv/pdf/0704/0704.0646v1.pdf
Which is my preferred explanation for reality. That reality is based on tautologically simple, necessary mathematics. In other words existence equates to mathematical truth.
Without external context to provide reason for being, the more complex something is the more unlikely it is. Therefore hypothesizing an infinitely ( and infinitely unlikely ) complex god as the reason for the origin of complexity is absurd.
By the way your web site makes a very very flawed argument. The word eternal has two meanings ( timeless or infinite time ). I believe nature is fundamentally timeless and that time is an illusion. Your website only considers the case of eternal meaning infinite time. Also an illusion does not mean it is based on nothing as your web site claims but instead that its appearance is deceiving which is my belief about time.
Check out the link I posted it is by one of the most respected young cosmologists and physicists today (Max Tegmark)

The problem with this argument is that it attempts to explain the entire universe with the same principles we observe within the universe. It is ridiculous to talk about how or why the universe exists because these questions only have meaning within the universe.

Default is lack of belief in gods or invisible pink unicorns. If you were convinced then you should be making an alter for Zeus.

Then you are not an atheist, its the old Sherlock Holmes thing, and its wrong, a Creator God makes the least sense, straight away there is the question of who created the creator....

Various god concepts MIGHT come close (pantheistic? deistic?), but definitely not the theistic god as described in books such as the bible or koran - 'coz those varieties are more like extraterrestrials IMO.

Yes I believe that he does, and I think that is were most atheists get to a dead end. Sure there might have been a Big Bang, and maybe even a little comet that hit Earth with micro life forms on it. But where did it all come from. The ability to see, and breath, and just live. We all know it's there, but were did it come from?

Don't by into it. If I tell you there is a penny on the floor but you can't see it it is my responsibility to show it to you if I want you to believe It is there.
