Some of you Athiests, why are you so offensive and rude with your comments?

SOME of you have turned this site into a 3 ring circus and a bad joke. Why don't you try to logically answer the questions that you know something about instead of just writing some dumbsh*t comment. It really shows the depth of your character when you say the things you do. Everyone knows what and who I am referring to. Now, the rest of the Athiests that do answer decently, please don't play the victim card and say I am bashing you because I am not. I am giving you kudos for playing the "game" fair and square. Thank you for that.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU FOR A (MOSTLY) CIVILIZED DIALOGUE. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE NOT READ ALL THE RESPONSES - DO SO - THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD BE ALL THE TIME.

IF I HAVE BEEN A ***** (AND I HAVE SEVERAL TIMES) TO THE ATHIESTS AND OTHERS, I APOLOGIZE. PLEASE FORGIVE ME. I JUST GET REALLY FRUSTRATED WITH THE GROSS COMMENTS WHEN SOMEONE IS ASKING A VALID SERIOUS QUESTION.

MANY OF US CHRISTIANS ARE PRETTY COOL AND IF YOU KNEW US IN PERSON, YOU MIGHT WANT TO GO OUT AND HAVE A GLASS OF WINE :)

ALSO, THE RUDE COMMENTS DO COME FROM A SELECTED FEW WHO JUST WANT TO HATE & DISRESPECT.

The same comments could be made for both camps..

There will always be those within both camps who find it difficult nearly impossible to carry on a civil dialogue.. It's human nature some people have very volitile tempers with emotion worn on thier sleeves while others are more diplomatic.. Each person is different and that's a good thing... If we were all the same wouldn't the world be a boring place...


Remember freedom of speech does not protect the speech you agree with...

I'll come up with a thoughtful answer when Christians can do something different with their posts. They all boil down to the same tired crap:

1. "How can you not believe in God? The evidence is all around you!" Opinion construed as fact. No concrete basis for validity.

2. "God exists because bible verse XXXX told me what to think! Look, I'll even copy & paste it to prove my point!" Shows incredible lack of individuality, and only demonstrates that Christians only do as they are told.

3. "How do atheists keep from killing people? They can't possibly have any moral character without God!" Insulting at best, and reinforces the widespread ignorance of the pious.

4. "Lookit me! I found Pascal's Wager! You atheists can't POSSIBLY refute its flawed logic for the three hundred and FIRST time this week!" Falls under the If I Only Had A Dollar For Every Time This Question Was Asked category.

5. "If evolution were true, then how come nobody has seen it happening for the past 2000 years?" That's so lame, it DESERVES a flaming response! Only complete idiots ask questions like this.

Basically, it's always the same tired arguments and the same tired plagiarized bible quotes from the same brainwashed Christians. There's nothing new. No individuality. It's the same crap rehashed over and over ad nauseum, with no end in sight and no progress being made.

In short, it summarizes the ideology of a group of people that are willing to give their entire existence to an abstract idea just to feel good about themselves rather than taking control of their own lives and deciding that nobody needs a supreme deity to live a good life.

And just for the record, I am agnostic, thank you very much. I always appreciate it when all non-Christians are simply lumped into the "atheist" camp by you religious nutjobs who refuse to acknowledge the difference.

Captain is stating what is not true. I am on this site every day for hours and I can honestly say i see very little evidence of Christians bashing or trying proselytizing . We try to answer questions . I know i can take the first three pages of questions and find no Christians bashing anybody . Your obvious false accusations are just an excuse for your hatred of Christianity. Real atheist would not even bother hating Christianity they have better things to do. The atheist on here have an agenda that is nothing more that the eradication of Christianity. That is so obvious it stinks.

It depends on the questions. I tend to respond in kind. If people have an honest question I am extremely polite. If they call names and lie about people then I can be equally rude.

By the way I have seen much more rudeness on here from so called Christians on here than from atheists.

You have probably noticed but a lot of them are gay and they blame christians for denying them their "rights".They want to safeguard the gay agenda so they come here as athiests.

Just be happy that the only thing we have screwed up of yours is a website..... for us, it's our life.....

Christians don't want 'immoral' things on TV or radio, therefore it's censored. (turning the dial would be too hard)

Christians don't like the naughty words in rap music, therefore it's censored. (don't listen)

Christians want to force prayer in school (how hard is it to bow your head and pray to yourself and not bother me)

Christians knock on my door and pester me to convert (I have never once tried to convince someone else to be like me)

And what more is to come?? Abortion, pornography, drinking, smoking.. what if I like that stuff, what happened to freedom of choice.

And you are going to cry about some postings on a website, be glad we don't have the money the churches have to lobby in Washington, and force our laws on you, like you do to us!!!!!!
