Well, my group got a debate to do (we're AGAINST the moot, btw). But being AGAINST such a moot is rather difficult and we have a VERY limited time. So, um, any suggestions? 'Twould be much obliged... ;-)

Women have historically ruled countries. Just not this one. I think you could focus your debate if you focus on the constitution and the majority vote. It should not focus on factors such as gender, race, etc. It should focus on who is most qualified and who is truly elected by the majority vote. If it is broader than just the US then frame the debate around the qualifying factors of WHO should lead.... education, residency, etc.

Women absolutely should not be allowed to rule a country. Every 28 days they go crazy (Bipolar Disorder), needing to be held, crying at the littlest things, beaming with pride because you said something nice, screaming @ the top of their lungs that you don't understand their needs, that you're a S.O.B., and on and on. Any form of dementia is undesirable in someone running a country.

Women have no stability under pressure unlike men especially with regards to attitudes toward wars.

I think yes. Just because women have not been given the opportunity does not mean that they would not be successful. I think that it is very egotistical of a man to think that only a man could do the job.

I think anyone who is qualified should be allowed to govern a country, regardless or race, gender, etc.
