It is probably a lack of life experience and their age.
Most do NOT read a newspaper or read online news sources. They get their input of thought from PEERS that know less than they do but are respected upon campus because they are "cool or hot". They also get a lot from my space from kids that are spouting with NO firm knowledge to back it up.
The GOOD news is that their naive posts perhaps make the rest of us think and apply our life experience to come up with a real solution.

So it's not naive to think this country would be better off downsizing our armed services to resemble the French military? To think welfare exists as "temporary assistance to get people on their feet"? That throwing more money at public education will solve the problem, even though that budget has grown inversely proportional with performance since the '70's? That a society with no morals is stronger than one with morals?

Everyone has their own way of thinking. Either you agree with it or not! It doesnt make it naive because you dont like what they had to say or feel that ur answer is the only right answer. And if that's how you truely feel then why post your questions on here if ur gonna complain because you feel no one is giving you the right answer. When they probably are you just need to broden your way of thinking!

Wow, naive? I dont think so.
And my question to you is "why dont you post questions that demand realistic answers? Its all in the phrasing. When polyanna-ish answers roll in, amend the question . Believe it or not, there is a lot of room. Add something to the effect of " I want better answers, come on people".
Having said that, I choose the questions I want to answer. I might not answer yours simply because I dont feel like doing so.

I think the reason why people post such immature and naive answers to political and religious questions is because they either have no idea about what they are talking about or because they are predjudice against certain religions so they think they will be funny.

Believe it or not, fella, you are not always right about everything. People have their own points of view, and yours is not the only valid one.
