My boyfriend's heart sometimes skips. That's because one of his lungs is smaller than the other and he has problems breathing. Maybe you could get your lungs checked out?

All the time buddy. I have anxiety as well and i refuse to take anything for it. About four months ago my heart skipped when i was running. Then when i would sit in class sometimes my chest would feel funny and my breathing would become heavy sometimes for as long as a half hour. I too got an EKG, blood tests for things like thyroid gland which could be a common cause, however i am sure that was included in you blood test, and a stress test and echo cuz my dad has some heart trouble. Everything checked out fine. Then my eye would twitch and that happened for about 3 months and i thought i had MS, it has now gone away but you see i always think i have one disease or another. It sucks but aw well. So yes your doctor is probably right, if he thought it was anything abnormal or you have heart trouble in your family i am sure your doc would look into it a bit more. Not uncommon to have these issues, 30 million other people have it. But if you really are concerned ask your doctor to follow into it a bit more. Best of luck i am sure your fine.

Have your thyroid checked. It sounds like you can have a hyperactive thyroid that is causing your symptoms.
