Most fitness magazines that I've read indicate that you should take in about 20 - 40 grams of protein (perferably fast digesting protein, like Whey) to supply your muscles with aminos needed for muscle repair.

In addition, you should probably take in 60 - 120 grams of fast digesting carbs. After working out, your muscles are strapped for glycogen (energy) and within 1 hour of working out you have a good window where the carbs you eat will be used to resupply and kick-start the muscle build process. Fast digesting carbs can be Gatorade, white bread, potatoes, spaghetti, etc. Slow digesting carbs (whole wheat, yams, etc) don't digest fast enough to be effective.

In addition, you want to avoid fat post-workout. This will blunt your digestion and will not supply the needed nutrients to your muscles.

Good luck.
