I have a 1997 and love it.
300 HP/V8
The aluminum 4.6L SOHC V8 engine on the Mustang GT sports a 3-valves-per-cylinder head arrangement. 300 horses and 320 lb.-ft. of torque. Or, if you prefer, 0 to 60 in 4.9 seconds.

300 hp 320 tq flywheel ratings. When it come to rwhp and rwtq most of them fall between 260-275rwhp and 280-300rwtq. The 275rwhp and 300rwtq are rare occasions, on the ave your looking at 265rwhp and 280rwtq. At the track depending on the driver I have seen stock 05-07 gt stangs run between 13.1 and 14.0 I would say that with your average driver you can consistantly run 13.4's in the 1/4 at the track. On the street your traction is not as good and a general rule of thumb is to add 0.2 to 0.5 to your 1/4 mile times on the street. 0-60 time is not really important to anyone who races but 60 foot time is and they usually are around 2.2-2.4 seconds. If you really want to know though, motor trend put the 05 gt mustang at 5.2 seconds 0-60.
P.S. track times depend a lot on the track as well, here in Az we are fortunate as long as we are not running in the summer. (for you Az racers, trust me, I know fast times are hard to come by at firebird but speedway is great) Are two tracks are close to sea level and the temp and winds here are good for racing. Lets say you are in Denver though, there altitude is much higher so there times will be much slower. Also there are a lot of tracks out there who are not as sticky as others.
