1, NOT as God .. since nobody has ever seen God.
The Devil can appear as an Angel of light ' and as a nice person , he can even appear as " religious and friendly" such as a Pope..
2.
Theres a Book called : The Christian and Rock Music.
Also modern christian songs are bad also..where they take a popular rock or rap beat or an old pop music song and change the words to christian style words..very bad!!!
Its like taking a playboy nude model pic and putting a bible scripture on her belly button - rgen call it " christian porn "
The Devil has 6000+ years of experience at trickery /or deception...so if he cant beat GOD with demonic crap..he will try to beat God at his own game..Devil will use religion to turn people against God........by confusing religion
thats why we have so many religions - so people will be confussed about what really is true or false..and will fail to do the right thing - but all will think' what they're doing is right,
Thast why Jesus said in Matthew:
" in that day ( judgement day / final day he returns)
There will be many who will say to me " lord lord " didn't we pray in your name? didnt we cast out demons in your name ?.. ( christians who thought they were doing righteous )
and I will say to them " Depart from me - I never knew you "...
- They were following a wrong religion.

He would like to.
I tend to like things that do not offend me.So I'm not going to watch tv shows or movies or listen to music that is really offensive to me.I'm pretty open-minded but I do know when something offends me and I'm not going to bother with any of that crap. While it may be necessary to offend people sometimes in order to make a point I feel that people these days do it for no reason at all and have abused the principle. They do it too often and without even having any valid point that they are trying to make. Therefore it's dumb.
An intelligent person would have a good reason to be shocking or offensive and then make their point once they've gotten everybody's attention. But that's lost on most of today's brainiacs. They just want to offend and think that is what passes for wit.

Yes...
Music that lifts our souls and makes us think thoughts that are pure and free is music from God. This includes more than just the gospel genre. There is something good and bad in most genres.
There is music that tears down, makes it hard for us to think, appeals to our bodily responses in a dark, earthly way, and stirs negative, angry, or inappropriate thoughts and feelings. This music usually with be played very loudly, and with a heavy beat. Any music, even "gospel" music, that takes us away from the still, small voice of God is not pleasing to Him. This can even include songs with good words.

It's true, the bible says that the devil can appear as an angel of light. But I don't think listening to contemporary christian music is wrong. I personally love all kinds of music, christian and secular. But I don't find it influencing me negatively. The only kind of music I don't understand is (christian or securlar) heavy metal because you can't tell what they're saying anyway.

He wanted to make himself like God (Isaiah 14:14) and he wants us to think he's something he isn't (2 Corinthians 11:14) but the reality is Satan is a created being (Ezekial 28:13). But alas he doesn't have the attributes of God. He has a lot of power of course but not more then God. If you are having troubles it could be caused by you. Sometimes we blame Satan and give him way more then he is due. If the music is bugging you and you think its satanic then I would suggest staying away from it. There are plenty of alternatives out there! Be blessed!

in the beats? not unless they are that of a voodoo chant or something. the Bible does say that the devil disguises himself as an angel of light, so yes, he can seem attractive. more attractive than God to most people.
I guess you just test the spirits. anything of God should acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. sometimes the Holy Spirit gives you the gift of descerning spirits and underlying motives. but not everyone has this gift of the Spirit.

it depends on the person who wrote and plays and sings the music are they saved do the believe in Jesus and are they playing the truth of the gosple or are they trying to "hide" it in the beat to draw "them" in are they preaching the way the truth and the life or just singing? thats all you need to ask your self is it the whole truth or do they slip away from the real message even a little is off the mark

Very true....
Music will be used by the Devil like a sort of Magic.
It will affect the heart and it can be used to influence you.

Music is very powerful. Powerful enough to eliminate the message the lyrics. Read "The Mysticism of Sound and Music" by Hazrat Inayat Khan i believe.

Music can also lift the soul - not just 'religious' music. There is inspiration in art. One way to tell may be to look at the outcome rather than the intention. Does it increase love or increase divisiveness.
