Well, if it is like a date, and you are just "friends" with benefits, then no. But,is it really proper to have a friend with benefits?? So I say, go for it, but be prepared that the more time you spend together, the more apt the situation is to change and someone may get hut. Feelings are bound to change. I have been there, it does not work after a while. I know you are saying no way, but, someones mind always changes.

There is nothing proper or any etiquette to friends with benefits. There are no rules. Let me guess, you are in this situation, but you feel he may like you a little bit more because you guys do more together right? WRONG!!! That's the friend side of the deal, benefits are the sex! Don't be fooled because it appears you two are dating! It's friends with benefits, he just happens to enjoy your company!!!

Funny you use the word etiquette in relation to sexfriends, concidering where that word came from :P.

This is the reoccuring problem with sexfriends, emotional attachment etc. I looked up love and attraction the other day and found that sex causes your body to inject some stuff that makes you all lovie dovie for your partner. Of course I wonder how this works when you take matters into your own hands :P

I think your entering the danger zone, if you plan on keeping it all about the sex you may wanna avoid it. But if there is no harm and you wouldnt mind takin it another step further then hey what the hell, your young have fun :P

He is your friend, correct? Then why not? Besides, Proper Etiquette does not understand the concept of "Friends w/Benefits" that whole idea is taboo to those who wrote the book on etiquette.

Sure why not? Would you go out to dinner and movies if the benefits didn't exist? It would be especially proper if the friend was buying

I don't think there is clear etiquette on friends with benefits. If you feel comfortable going out then go for but if no don't. It depends on the two people.

what do you mean?
Is the friend ON benefits...then yes, they aren't disadvantaged, they can tell you when they can't afford it.
If A friend with benefits means something else..then I don't know
If it's a friend WITH benefits, then what are you worried about etiquette for....duh!

I think all etiquette is out the door when it comes to these kinds of relationships. Do what you want!

Why not?

The first part is "FRIENDS with benefits". Why should your fun be confined to just the bedroom.

I do have a question? If you enjoy spending time together and are physically attracted to each other, why aren't you together?

You're kidding, right?

The question you should be asking is: Does this "friend with benefits" have OTHER "friends with benefits" and then giving you genital herpes or some other sexually transmitted infection he could get from them.

Thats your REAL question.
