Noble, 'in the name of" is not referring to a personal name. It means "in recognition of."

A person can consider himself anything he chooses to. The question is will Jehovah and Jesus Christ consider him such?
Jesus said at John 15:14: YOU are my friends if YOU do what I am commanding YOU. also at John 14:23: In answer Jesus said to him: “If anyone loves me, he will observe my word, and my Father will love him, and we shall come to him and make our abode with him.

that is trouble brother. people say we don't follow Jesus, but if we don't follow Jesus Christ, why do we follow his command at Matthew 28 verses 19 and 20? we are the only ones going door to door. and telling everyone about Jehovah and his son Jesus Christ. www.watchtower.org

a person can consider their self a Christian when he has a personal relationship with Jesus. the person can ignore commands in the Bible, and still be a Christian, but as a Christian a person should strive to be just like Jesus (hence the name Christian "Christ-like") because of the wonderful things He does for those who follow Him, and so he/she should strive to follow through with all of Jesus's commands. :D

Are you making disciples or simply fulfilling a field service report so the Watchtower can keep track?
Are you truly interested in bringing others to salvation or are you simply doing works that you feel you have to do?
The fruits of the Holy Spirit are not the works themselves, but rather outcome of the works, and whether or not your heart and faith are in them.

The word Christian is to be Christ like.
Christ preached in public.
His followers were taught by him to preach in public.
And if you don't preach in public you may be marked for death from the angels.
Who are you afraid of? Jesus and the angels are with you.

and let us look at that
Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
name is singular
and what is the name of the father
John 5:43 I am come in my Father's name
that makes the name of the father JESUS
and we all know th name of the Christ is JESUS
and the name of the Holy Ghost
John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
Jesus said He is the one who is the comforter or the Holy Ghost, that makes JESUS the name of the Holy Ghost too
Oh look that is exactly what Peter said in Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
yep I have followed all Jesus said to do
thanks for the reminder
oh and Jesus also said
Mar 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

You can't judge a book by its cover; people can be witnesses for Christ in different ways . If they are a true christian and you are around them enough you will see christ in them .You should read Matthew 7:1-5
If you don't see Christ in him;yours should be not to judge but be a witness to them.
God Bless
