Through her publicist, Eliot Mintz, or at whatever jail she gets put in "ATTN: Paris Hilton"....I do not feel she should be given amnesty....my friend got a DUI, her first offense, no other charges and STILL had to do 48hrs in jail. Paris not only had a DUI, but drove after suspension....irregardless of who told her she could drive or not, whether it be her mom or her PR guy...she is responsible for knowing her own personal legal business.

I don't think Paris should get amnesty. I don't think Illegals should get amnesty. Illegals drive every day without insurance or license.
Isn't it amusing that a legal citizen will go to jail before an illegal immigrant who has broken every law of this country?

The news reported she fired Eliot Mintz whom had told her everything was taken care of and she can drive without further problems from the police. That information proved to be false which has her in the position she is in now. According to reports she may serve 21-23 days from overcrowding or it may drag out in the appeal process for weeks or months it's a wait and see thing.

Why would someone who has broken the law (repeatedly!) be spared the punishment of their crimes? No one who commits a crime should be given a walk, unless there are special circumstances (too young to know better, mental illness, self-defence, ect.) which there was not for Hilton. She was just ignorant and arrogant.
Write to the jail, that's where she'll be.

It will probably be in the news if she gets sent to jail. You will just be able to write to her at the jail. You won't even need the prisoner number as they will know who she is. Anyway isn't it just supposed to be 40 days? Someone could take her mail into her.

A judge and a probation officer tells her "no" but her boy toy dipstick employee tells her "yes"?
she should go to jail for her stupidty and arragonce but hey, guess it will just be for breaking the law.
And as for O.J., he went to trial and the morons let him off. Paris was found guilty, big differance.

I don't think so. This should be to prove that not even the rich wealthy famous people are above the law.
