Oh, to be young again! My dear, from where I sit, your experience means nothing to write home about. Why do y'all young folks trip so much?(smile) You all are so vocal and verbal about everything else, but you have such a hard time expressing how you feel with the opposite sex. You all are so afraid of being rejected - of being hurt - of moving on. OK - so you like him. And you know he is already seeing someone else. Are you willing to 'bust up something already in place?" Is it worth the drama that I am sure will come to pass? Are you strong enough to handle 'her' and possibly all her 'crew' for approaching 'her man?' If the answer is 'no', then I say - move on to someone else who is SINGLE AND FREE. Now, if you think that he is 'giving you the eye - then approach slowly and cautiously. Smile at him when you see him, speak, try to assert situations where you may have to "engage in conversation" and see what he has to say. I don't know how old you are, but if you are middle or high school - you have so much to learn in this thing called 'love'. I learned my lesson the hard way - I was crazy about a boy for two years in high school - we flirted and smiled and spoke - but he had a girl. BUT, he also liked me, but he was afraid and so was I. So, we never hooked up. On our 15th high school reunion - we met again. Both of us floated into each other's arms. We never lost the private feeling we secretly held for each other all those years. Needless to say - I learned that he really, really wanted me but I was too scared to say anything and he was too - don't waste your life wondering 'if'. Say something - and if he is not with it for you - don't fret - there are so many other good looking, smart guys waiting to talk to you. Go for the gusto girlfriend!
