I have heard almost everyone needs to hire a lawyer to get it, even when they are obviously severely disabled. So, I doubt it.
However being overweight will make it more likely for you to develop diabetes, joint damage and heart problems and other conditions, and it will probably be those "other conditions" that eventually qualify you. You will still have to get a lawyer and you'll be in for a long battle.

No, you cannot. The only cases where I have seen social security benefits awarded is in morbidly obese children. Now, if your being overweight caused other physical ailments, then you could apply for benefits for those ailments. They would have to be severe though.

No and I am pretty sure you knew this when asking the question. Personally as a taxpayer, it irritates me when people take advantage of the system. I work hard for my money and if you are physically able to you should too. You should be ashamed of even posting this question.

If you have been diagnosed as morbidly obese and the weight effects your ability to work, ambulate without assistance, etc.

Why would you want to? Have enough pride to carry your own weight in this world instead of expecting those of us who work hard for our livings to pay for you.

No. You have to have a disability of some kind and being overweight is not a disability.

I hope not. People shouldn't be motivated with monetary incentives to get or stay overweight.
