Wrong.

Atheists tend to be atheists because of a lack of evidence for God. Whether or not there is a God, there is no evidence for one, so whether or not there is a God, there will still be atheists.

Now, if you said "if there were no sex, there would be no atheists" that would be correct.

well, there IS no god, and there ARE atheists because there is no god, but if no one believed there was a god, obviously there would be no need for atheists

Very true. Atheists ONLY exist because of God. He is the reason for their existance.

Well, there is no god and there are still atheists. For there to be no atheist, there would have to be no theist.

Atheism is not dependent upon if god exists or not - atheism is a defination of not believing in god. Belief and existance are two seperate issues. So as long as religion exists, there would be atheism.

Yuppers. ... And there's more:
“Yes, it all makes sense now! God is always right. God made atheists. Therefore, atheists are right.”

( NOT REALLY, OF COURSE, AS THERE *ARE* NO GODS! )

There is no God, and still plenty of atheists. I find it odd that there are still theists...
