He is now behind bars for God knows how long and I am sitting here feeling guilty. How am I going to get through this?

I say Restraining Order additionally. You dont desire to be some horror homicide case on the 5 O'Clock information. sounds like an rather volatile guy or woman. Dont ever bypass away your little one with him, why would you even evaluate? You dated him for a million month, he's only a Sperm Donor. After the little one is born, take him to courtroom for little one help, only reason he says he cant pay , skill no longer something. interior the mean time stay way far flung from him. He made the choice to have intercourse with you and the effects are existence long.

I'm probably too young to answer this, but I'll shoot anyway. A mentally unstable person from birth or by accident is excusable but if he developed it over the years from his lifestyle, (or the stuffs he's been taking), screw him. You did the right thing because he's threatening you and you're just defending yourself and your son, or him... He could have done something bad to himself too. he's in good hands now, rest assured... As for you, you should take good care of your kid, at least it'll take your mind off that dude. I have a good friend who helped a lot in my life and he's my enemy now. Life's a journey, we leave a lot of stuffs behind as we go along...

Hi I am not an expert but He really needs help and is screaming he needs it!
I think that you are probably on an emotional rollercoaster ride, (there is a lot more to this story than you are saying) some guilt, some anger, and some self pitty. I think that you should talk to someone that is trained to help you sort things out for yourself.
Good Luck

You would be feeling worse if he had killed himself or someone else. Make sure that you follow up and have him evaluated for mental illness. He needs help. You did the best you could.

God loves you, and you are precious to Him. Jesus died on the Cross to save us from condemnation, so that we can qualify for Heaven. Never, never, miss Heaven for anything in the world. We can live a wonderful life by connecting to God through repentance and obedience to His will.
My best wishes to you for happiness and Heaven!

Try not using pop psychology phrases like "mentally unstable" and "he needs help," and give the radically angry guy his right to privacy by not talking about him to others.

You should have went to court to see the magistrate and had him committed and put in the hospital in which he would receive care.
