I use Olay Touch of Sun lotion, it works but you have to use it everyday. I'm usually really pale in the winter too, that helps a little but only if you use it everyday. Hope that helped if it didn't sorry lol.

I am translucent also ;) I use Loreal lotion tanner. For fair skin it works great. Just make sure you scrub all your dead skin off or you'll have brown blotches anywhere that is dry. Be careful by your feet also just put a small amount and rub it in well and in between toes and the top of your toes by the nail. The only thing is I don't know how well this will work having unshaved skin. You can also go to a salon that does the spray tan. I don't like the results but some people love it. Plus around where I live it is really expensive. Good Luck!! Oh one more thing Loreal lotion wont leave you sparkled everywhere. I don't care how tan you are a boy with sparkles, not good!

Since you are already anemic, do not risk a tanning bed. There are a lot of good self tanning products. Start with the less expensive ones and go up to the better ones until you find one that gives you the look you want.
Everyone's skin reacts differently, so hopefully the cheaper products will work the best for you. Hint: Do bathe and use a good exfoliator before applying the tanner.

No, skip the tanning bed. I don't think I need to tell you how horrible it is for you skin. The best and healthiest way to get a nice color during winter is by using a tan lotion. I recommend Jergen's Natural Glow (designed for medium skin tones). I use this once a day during the winter and you would never even know it. I have a healthy looking glow without being completely tan, but I definietly don't look pale. It doesn't streak and it looks totally natural.

Let me start off my saying Dove Energy Glow is an amazing product. Unlike other retail self-tanners it doesn't leave you streaky or orange. However I wouldn't recommend using the medium skin tones shade if you have fair skin. I know that sucks since you have already purchased it but you don't want to be orange. So i would get the shade for fair skin get a tan going and then use your other shade for medium skin tones. You may tan faster but it will be streaky and you will look like an orange. This is a cheap way to get a summer glow! No joke, good luck! Hope i could help!

Let me reiterate what others have said about not going to tanning beds. Such a bad idea. Since you are so pale you are extra susceptible to skin cancer. I am also really pale and do not use tanning beds. The Dove Energy Glow lotion isn't bad but I've had best results with Neutrogena Foam sunless tanner. It does not streak or turn you orange and it looks really natural. It's really easy to use, I've used it for 3 years or so. It gives you a healthy tan, not fake and you don't get skin cancer using it! yay!

I suggest Avon's Satin Glow Airbrush Spray. It has a conditioning mist that delivers instantly soft skin with a natural, even glow that develops gradually. Or Satin Glow Daily Body Moisturizer - softens skin as the color enhancer gradually brings out a natural, healthy glow. Try Satin Glow Smoothing Body Wash - moisturizing lather with softening exfoliators prepares your skin for even, long lasting color. You can control the amount of color you get. All on sale. 100% satisfaction guaranteed or your money back! Best way to tan now-a-days. Excessive exposure to the harmful rays omitted from the sun and tanning lamps can be hazardous to your health and skin.

Deal with it...losers who lay in the sun or fake bake/potato cooker beds get skin cancer and if they dont get cancer..they look 15 years older than they are
thats why some young white and light girls look 35 when theyre really only 20
dont do it..its not worth it..
if you HAVE to do something buy a good quality lotion, the fake color/tan lotions or sprays. good luck
