My hair is really dry and very staticy. People have said to try deep conditioning for it, but im just wondering if there are any shampoos and conditioners that will help this kind of thing. I've tried pantene and sunsilk and they don't help much. so anything besides those i'm willing to try.

i am using dove's shampoo. i've only used it for a week but it seems to keep the static down. i would recomend the moisturizing one, and also a little bit of styling balm, like joghn freida, that way you'll keep the static to a minimum.

Dove has great products. Ultra Doux and Nivea are pretty good too.
The thing is, its not just enough to choose a good product - you've to shampoo and condition your hair in the most gentle and effective way. (Wet your hair and leave it wet for a minute - then pour more water over it and then shampoo - it lathers better. Use the pads of your fingers to gently massage shampoo on your scalp in circular motion - gets all grime and flakes of your scalp. Rinse very thoroughly. When you apply conditioner, don't put it on the roots of your hair. After applying conditioner, take sections of your hair and comb through starting at the ends - that is, take a section of hair and work ends to roots taking longer portions each time - actually this is the best way to comb one's hair - wet or dry. This detangles them gently and spreads the conditioner evenly. Leave on for a couple of minutes and rinse well. Use a towel to absorb excess water and then let your hair air-dry.)
If a rinse-off conditioner is inadequate, use a leave-in one too.
One simple way to cut down on static is to use a wooden comb (or brush, but combing is better) instead of plastic.
A simple homemade deep conditioning treatment - blend ripe bananas with a dash of honey, leave on hair for around half an hour, rinse thoroughly, shampoo and condition as usual.

Dove has some good conditioners (I have dry, frizzy hair and that's what I use). And garnisse has a deep conditioner that you use once a week that's good, too. I agree, pantene never did much for me, either. You might try a leave-in conditioner, one that you spray on after you wash your hair. I use one by john frieda, from the "frizz-ease" collection.

I love the BioSilk line - you can get it in a lot of salons and some drug stores. Their Silk Therapy is amazing and helps dry hair and skin (you can even apply it to skin!!) It is great! They have a ton of products that would work for you, but besides just shampoo and conditioner - you need more to tackle everyday stresses. That's why I recommend getting Silk Therapy. I also like a line by KMS (also in salons) and Senscience, but it is harder to find. Good luck!!

Try Aussie Moist collection,Herbal Essences Hello Hydration or Herbal Essences None Of Your Frizzness or the John Frieda Frizz-Ease products. If those don't work for you, try this new brand called Organixs any of their products should work, but the Shea Butter one might do you best {and they smell super yummy!}.
Good luck! I hope I helped!

Joico K-Pak shampoo & conditioner

A drop of jojoba oil is a good leave in conditioner. It is non-comedogenic, adds a nice sheen, and washes out easily.
