I am happy for Jerry Falwell's sake that he went to be with his Lord.
I have seen MANY hateful things said about him today by those who accused him of being hateful.
I am sorry for them, as these are the ones he would have gladly led into the knowledge that brings peace with God.
They love to use the word hypocrite, not understanding that every time they use the word they only further condemn themselves.
As Jesus said "if the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!"

This affected me, I thought that he was a great man although while I define myself politically as a conservative he was a bit too far to the right for my tastes.

I hate to see helpless people attacked and beaten up. Think about this: In 20-50 years when you are old and defenceless, what kind of society do you want to live in? One where old people instead of being respected and revered are seen as victims by the young? I find this kind of thinking scarey to think about because one thing that is true about everyone reading this - if you live long enough you'll be old too.

The filling of the drug tunnel . I just saw that it will take 2 weeks to fill 5 of the tunnels in California and 2 I believe are in Texas. I may be wrong, but we need more help on the border and on issues of this sort. We need more border security since we really don't know what came through those tunnels....drugs....terrorists, etc.

I'm always aware of the soldiers in Iraq. I often wonder if I was blessed with daughters. I see so many young men have died for the cause. My prayers are with their families.

After reading some of these answers, I am surprised at how some people seem so proud of their insinsitivity and stupidity. They probably dont even watch the news. The death od Jerry Falwell touched me deeply. And I am not surprised at the the hatred people are spreading about him. God says that "they" hated HIM, so "they" will hate us too. He also says to beware when all men speak well of you...it means you are worth nothing to anyone, you have no convictions, you make no stands. Im thankful for the people that stand anyway, sing anyway, give anyway, love anyway, reach out anyway! I also hated to hear about our missing soldiers. God bless our soldiers for their bravery and dedication to keep this nation free. Its not just freedom for the unbelievers - its freedom for believers too!
