it is pastor apperciation and i was given a verse to stand up and read but i dont know excatly what it means in the bible james chapter3 verse1. need good explation to what it excatly means i have to write something about him through this .

It means that not everyone is called to be a teacher/pastor because that person holds a lot of authority over those he shepherds. If they misuse that authority it could cause quite a few people to be lead astray or be lead into false doctrine. However, if your pastor has done an excellent job while leading your congregation and has held to strong, biblical truths then he is to be commended.

it's basically saying their are many teachers that don't know they shall receive the blessings and glory of god our lord....and that damnation shouldn't be in our life!!!! but they should know all the things that god promised them because if you know whats yours in the lord the devil cant take it away from you!!!!
