Abraham never founded any religions. Judiasm was created by the Jews 400 years before the birth of Jesus Christ. Jesus never meant for His death and ressurection to become a big moster religion. Islam was created by Muhammed. He was a pagan who worshipped the moon god allah and was educated in Judiasm and Christianity. Muhammed married a rich woman and she allowed him to quit his camel herding job and make up his new religion, Islam. The truth shall set you free.

Abraham didn't found anything. He made a covenant with God, that's all. Moses laid down the Law which provided the foundation of Judaism and so Christianity and Islam.
We only use the term Abrahamic for these three religions because Abraham is the original patriarch of them all. He didn't found Judaism or formulate any forms of worship. His descendents did that.

They all worship the god of Abraham but he didn't exactly found the religions.
At any rate, concubines were common (and normal) at the time. Societies have become a lot more, erm, prim and proper since then.

I might agree that Abraham was the Father of the Jews and that he was the spiritual father of believers, who put their trust in God to justify them (Christians); but how do you say he is the founder of Islam?
