If not then don't say there are jobs Americans won't do!

Nope, there are many US Citizens and legal aliens working in landscaping.

Dishwashers do have many US Citizens and legal aliens doing the work.

And remember the Swift & Co meat packing plant raids last year? Only about 1/3 were illegal aliens (using false ids), the rest were US Citizens and legal aliens.

Come on try again!

It may be true they are taking jobs in construction, but there still are US Citizens and legal aliens working in construction!

The truth is there is NO job that Americans (or legal aliens) will not do. That is why President Bush tries to deceive with "Jobs Americans do not WANT to do" (for the illegally low wages)!

I sure cant name one Great question man You are correct. Who do you think harvested the crops before the illegal aliens. American farmers and their family's did. I have seen white men working in the fields here in Indiana all the time. Get real. There are no jobs Americans wont do if the money or the reason is right.
Again the slaughter houses were worked by white and black Americans before the illegal aliens offered to do it cheaper.
There are lots of illegals on the welfare rolls and they are just as lazy as any other welfare recipient. They get welfare by lying and false ID.

The goal is to fill job slots at low wages and many employers cannot find sufficient workers who will take the jobs. These of course tend to have very low wages (non-unionized) and hazardous conditions with little or no benefits. Think of meat processing plants for example. Sure, they employ the US citizens that show up for the job, but not enough good citizens want these jobs.

Because companies need a workforce and the ability to make a profit illegal immigration is allowed. It may be politically expedient to blame the workers but they would not come if they could not get hired.

"It is estimated that illegal immigrants fill a quarter of all agricultural jobs, 17 percent of office and house cleaning positions, 14 percent of construction jobs and 12 percent in food preparation."

"Mexicans make up 56 percent of illegal immigrants. An additional 22 percent come from other Latin American countries, mainly in Central America. About 13 percent are from Asia, and Europe and Canada combine for 6 percent." [See link for both quotes.]

While businesses argue that the economy would collapse without illegal immigration I say that if so then it's time to build a different economy. If the wages and benefits were decent I suspect there would be no jobs left unfilled by US citizens.

i totally agree for the time being, my husband owns his own brick company and it has gotten harder for him to get jobs bc the illegal aliens are coming in giving really low prices and half of them dont know what they are doin and this causes my husband to lose out on jobs but if the illegal aliens keep coming over this way then before long it will be 100% aliens in a lot of jobs (not really just me rantin about the thousands that are already here taking our tax money and our benefits away from us)

There are jobs that Americans won't do, I'm not saying its done 100% by illegal immigrants, example:slaughter houses. Some argue that they won't do that job bc they don't pay enough, but when you got a family to feed you will take ANY job! That's why there are so many "citizens" on welfare and food stamps bc they refuse to "do that job"!

Harvesting crops. Mexicans will pick, sort and crate all day long but not Americans. We've never determined why.
