Nope. I don't rejoice in his death. But I didn't respect him in this life... so why should I give him respect via a moment of silence?
He was a man who I did not like.
I don't regret his death, rejoice in it, celebrate it, or whatever.
He is dead. That's it.
Am I happy about it? I have to admit that I am to a point. One less nut telling us all how to live our lives. Teletubbies are gay? Give me a break!
But I am not jumping for joy.
However, his death means one less mouth full of nonsense....
His death means one less mouth full of hatred towards those who live different from him and those like him.
----Ok, I have to admit to being a little bit of a hypocrite, which is difficult for me. I am bucking back a glass of vodka and having a giggle..... And I do feel ashamed. It's just that people like this man are the epitome of prejudice. I have a difficult time feeling anything other than disdain for them.

Silent for a man who would never stop flapping his fat gums?! NEVER!
I toasted several times tonight after work to the death of that foul man. If i believed there was a hell i would be happy to know that's where that specimen of all that is wrong with humanity would end up. I hope some day to pay him the proper respect and urinate on his grave.

Most replies to this thread so far are sick!
The news of his death hasn't been circulating for too long and already the gleeful/malicious insults have started.
HAVE A BIT MORE RESPECT FOR THE DEAD, PEOPLE!!!
I don't care if you didn't like the way he practiced his faith, and I don't care if you didn't like certain things that came out of his mouth. He fought for the rights of Christians and helped people, both in the best ways that he knew how. For that, yes I would join in and forget anyone who calls me a whack job for doing so!

I think Jerry Fallwell did his best to silence as many people as he could. People have been silent long enough because of him.

A moment of silence in appreciation of the angel of death taking a big mouth racist off this earth.
His eyes are now open and he is roasting over hot coals for the words he uttered....
