There is the Hwy 240 loop which goes around the park it is about and hour drive. There is also Robert's Prarie Dog Town down Sage Creek Rim Road. There is the Big Pig Dig, several hiking trails, the Ben Reifel Visitor center (this has a whole bunch of info on the formations and wildlife), andthe White River visitor center which is staffed by members Oglala Indian Tribe. There are several camp grounds, bike trails and hiking trails to enjoy. Wildlife are abundant and when I was there we saw prarie dog, deer and some bison (off in the distance). There are lots of fossils and the rock formations are awsome. No place like it anywhere else. Just don't stay in Kadoka (hole in the wall).

Being from there, there is a lot to see. There are lots of Oligocene and other mammal fossils. The terrain is beautiful. There are areas where wildlife is visible. There is an Indian Reservation next to it. Wall Drug, a big tourist trap is next door. It is close to the Black Hills which has other tourists traps including Mount Rushmore.
