Well, if you are asking about yourself, I don't see how you can be a Buddhist and a Satanist at the same time. I don't know much about Satanism but I suspect you worship Satan. I also know that Buddhists believe it is wrong to harm any living creature. There is the problem, when one religion teaches one thing and the other religion teaches the opposite. You can't believe 2 opposing things at the same time. Psychologists call that Cognitive Dissonance. What I would suggest is to choose a religion based on what you believe is true, not based on what you like. I am a Christian and I know that God is, that Jesus is, and that the Bible is true. That's what I care about, truth. Sometimes when I try to obey Jesus teachings they instruct me to do something I don't like to do (for example, praying for someone I feel has hurt me or I feel angry at), but I know that by doing what I don't like to do, if it is the right thing to do, will cause things to come out better than if I did what I wanted to. I hope I have written something that has been helpful.

Yes, of course. You can believe in all the religions at one time, once you understand what all religions first tried to achieve when they first started.
You need to transcend to the sublime virtues of each religion.
The fact that you want to believe in two religions indicates that you are already moving up to a higher plateau of knowledge.
No religion started out as an institution. Unfortunately, once a religion becomes institutionalized, its members start thinking of it as a private club or their favorite football team.
Once all the people achieve this higher status of thinking, peace on earth shall prevail.

Yes. It's called syncretic religion. There are several noted Catholic scholars who have written books on Zen. They weren't writing against it; they were writing as practitioners. In the long run, choosing your beliefs isn't your father's job; it's yours.

No, you cant believe in both. You have to choose. Buddha was a man who seeked enlightenment. Our Lord Jesus Christ is Enlightenment Himself. You have to choose between a man-made religion (Buddhism) and a divinely instituted religion (Catholicism).

Your dad can't tell you what religion you are.

While nothing is preventing you from believing in 2 religions, logically, they should not contradict each other.

You can believe but you can't practice both religions as Christianity is intolerant of any faith other than their own..

Sure, you can do that. In many ways the two go hand in hand.
