Are there any PEACE LOVING Muslims out there???

Question

I have met one or two really nice people who happen to be muslim.

But it seems all the rest are steeped in hatred and anger and want to kill me and everyone else - WHY when we have never even met???? You might actually LIKE me.

This is not a con.

Please restore my faith in human nature and let me know if you are muslim and want a happy and peaceful existance????

My main question was to see how many peace loving muslims would actually surface, there seems so much hatred towards them, it would be nice for you to have YOUR say. Good for you!

Not all Muslims are the same love. I'm Muslim, never had a problem with anyone. Don't think anyone has had any probs with me too. Idiots will be idiots regardless of sex, religion, nationality or colour.

Muslim's religion stand for peace and tolerance.

This statement i wrote above would be subject to much critisicm but the fact will remain stead.

Look at the basic pillars of Islam and Islamic histroy and Behaviour of the Prophet Muhammad and tell me any one single place where he encourged voilence and hatred?

People associate muslims with 9/11 . Tell me , Should Afghanistan or Iraq be the cause of hatred for entire Muslim nation? Does behavour or Afhganis or Iraqis change the Religion Islam??? ...The answer is .. NO!

And all these crazy pacifist and peace loving christians , where were they when they bombarded nagasaki and hiroshima? Arent The christians and fews the one who fought the The 2 World Wars??

Or is it that just becasue the time has changed so that world wars should be forgetten? If that is so . then listen

Islamic history and religion is based on peace. Islam is an arabic word for PEACE.
And in NO WAY Islam promotes terrorism or hatred , doesnt matter with muslims or christians or jews or pagans.

It's just the propganda of media and lobbies that want to destroy the image of Islam.

at least you think for yourself and that is a great commodity, well done.

No one, will be ever be able to meet all the muslims, but at least your honest enough the say the, "majority" you have met are filled with hatred. The ones i've met are the same, everything to them is the fault of the west and the jews.

Don't listen to the politicians who say, "it only a small minority". WE ARE THE PEOPLE, WE KNOW!

Rule NR. 1. Don't generalise.
Most of my friends are Muslims, but I haven't met all Muslims.
I've also met many 'Christians' who haven't a clue what Christianity is about. I'd like to put a bomb under them, but I can't because I still believe in Christian values.
The vast majority of Muslims just want to follow the teachings of the Qur'an (not the Sharia, which came later).

sure they want a happy and peaceful existence..but only when everyone has to obey sharia law, when people are stoned or mutilated for adultery or theft and where women are abused and disempowered..Oh and did I mention forced marriage, wife immolation and paedophilia?...Get real!.. This is the agenda of even the 'moderate muslims' and sui-bombing and kidnap and hostage beheading is their MO. Try asking them if they would abandon these practices. Then we might achieve some sort of rational dialogue.

Let me first say that Islam is NOT Nazism made into a religion. He does not have his facts straight. Well, I am a Muslim and a peace loving one as well. After 9/11 there has been alot of misconceptions about Islam. ISLAM IS A RELIGION OF PEACE. However, that is hard to understand because of the terriosts, martyrs, etc.........
I suggest that you talk to an Imam, or Muslim priest, so you can better understand Islam and its concepts. And trust me I wanr a happy and peaceful exsistence.

there are bound to be some hunny,it just that the news only reflects on the bad ones,and I'm not being funny,but if they are such a strict religion surely "though shall not kill would" come into every form of religion no matter which one it was. people also resent hem for how quickly they get housed and on just how much benefits that they can get out of our country,as well as pushing our nhs to breaking point. we give them political asylum,yet what do they do to show there gratitude,they terrorise us and cause major hatred. its not only white people who have the ability to be racist. its a sad sad world we live in. the human race are becoming more and more like animals,vicious and vindictive and full of hatred. it makes me worry for the future on just how much more worse this terrorism can get. it makes you fell like your not safe,its a disgrace. well done for the valid question honey. take care xx

Of course there are! Please don't tar everybody with the same brush, it's that kind of narrow-minded feeling that eventually develops into distrust and hatred.

Restore your own faith in human nature and make a little more effort to meet genuine people from all walks of life.

yes there are, and plenty of them - Go to Malaysia, they know how to co- exist. but in general, its about power and the weakest will always submit to power, do the ones who suggest 'human bombings' actually believe in an ' after life' well they dont seem in any hurry to go there!, so lets hope one day, sense will prevail...

Yes I am Muslim. I am peaceful however I just want the USA to get out of Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Somalia, and quit letting Israel bomb Palestine. I don't take kindly to my brothers and sisters being killed by people who think it's their duty to make the rest of the world a democracy. Other than that I'm fine.
