Well, I'm not sure if it's the quickest way, but I just started using www.myfooddiary.com to lose weight. It's a slow but sure method and it's very informative. It really keeps you in check and also teaches you how you really change your lifestyle. I lost 7 pounds in 3 weeks which was actually pretty great and I didn't really feel like I was missing out on much.

Also be sure to incorporate working out in your regimine and you may lose weight faster and safer.

Well... You could try a low carb diet which IS healthy as long as you eat natural things along with low carb vegetables...I did this, went from around 140 to under 125 in two weeks without even exercising, and I was never hungry...(Works at different rates for different people, but it DOES work...)

If you don't like the low carb idea, then you're going to have to restrict your calories, but you should still be sure to eat healthy foods (you're putting a limited amount of food into your body, so it should be the best possible quality.) You need to make sure that you take in less calories than you use per day (including exercise) but don't "starve" yourself, this will only make you binge or cause your body to hoard fat... The restriction of calories works, though not as fast as low carb, and I'd still try to avoid sugary things or high calorie/processed carbs (white bread, crackers, cake, etc.)

Good luck, I hope this helps, these are both "fast" but also realistic!

Are you kidding me with these answers. There is no magic pill, website, diet, program, etc. If you want to lose weight "the healthy way", there is no quick way. Stop eating Burger King for lunch or ice cream every night or eating till you feel like your going to burst. To lose weight, you need to control WHAT you eat, WHEN you eat, and HOW MUCH you eat. AND, you need to exercise, EVERYDAY. I dont mean you have to run 5 miles a day, but you have to be active. Go for a walk, ride a bike, lift weights, Run for 5 minutes, walk for 10, run for 5 more. Whatever, just get off the couch.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Quickly, cut all the sugar out of your diet. Splenda can be used and sourdough bread is better than whole grain sugar wise. substitute coke with coke zero and sprite zero. I quit all the sugar in my diet and its only been 7 days. I have lost 10 pounds and I really don't crave sugary foods anymore. potatoes, pasta etc.. poatatoes are my weakness but I feel great and it happens fast.
