There are many things to concider. First of all, who broke up with who and second of all, is your friend hurting over this. I know that if I did the breaking up and I did it because I truely dispised the person, then.... hey, you want him, take him... however if I feel I still have a chance with him later or if deep in my heart I still just like him... it might bother me that you would be sooo willing to snatch him up. If the friend is truely your friend, you would know the reasons behind it all and therefore you should know the answer to that question yourself, if you think for one second, that your friend will be hurt or upset about it, then you have to ask yourself just what kind of friend you are... you WILL loose that friend if your desire for her or his X is stronger than your friendship.

depends on how close of friend the person is (if they're a best friend never, a casual friend...yes), and if the friend would be mad about it...If the ex makes the move, then I wait a couple weeks...If I am the one going for the ex, then I would probably wait at least a month. That said though, you gotta take into consideration how the friend will react (and how much they matter to you) but also have to keep yourself in mind as well.

Depends on how close of a friend you are or were. If your still friends it may seem too awkward , but if you no longer close friends and you and the left over are feeling each go for it. Remember to first look into why it didn't work out with your friend. You often friend with people who are like you so you may end up with the same opinion about that guy.

Would you ever want your friends to date your ex? If so, how long after the breakup? This is your answer.
Be the friend that you want to have.

Yea i would because itz already an ex. Itz called fair game, and if the other person still has feelings for that person he/she should get over it because theres like about 30% percent they might get back together.Itz just part of life, people have to deal with moving on,might as well get it out of the way sooner so you can be stronger later on,

My friend recently broke up with her ex, and thinks i should date him.
If this friend is close then you should confront her about you wanting to date her ex. Dont make your move unless she okays it because your friendship should be valued over everything else. If she doesnt like the idea, give her time to get used to you liking him.

Definitely not. Even they have broke up, it is still not appropriate to date a friend's ex bf or gf. There are a lot of women and men out there. Just explore.

Yes, but only if the situation that caused the breakup has changed. It takes 5-10 years for men, IMHO.

I'd ask my friend before I dated their ex, because to just go and do it is wrong. They are first a friend, so out of respect to them as your friend, ask. How long, whatever you're comfortable with.
