I have heard of the storehouses for the alexandria library being burnt back when Queen Cleopatra was alive but i doubt they had anything that was not already copied and at places like the pergamon or rome.

also the bible is not the holy text for Jews so you have some issues with your questions asked.

Finally, what was written in the scrolls was also most likely told from generation to generation so i doubt we missed anything worth to much missing

You presume a lot here. Your illogic is only exceded by your utter ridiculousness.

There are still many many books from antiquity in existence (your first wrong assumption). The bible is not the only one adhered to (your second wrong assumption). It is not a collection of myths attested to by josephus, tacitus, origen, etc. (your third wrong assumption).

The fact that it has been translated across more than 2000 years with documents dating to within 100 years of the event and more than 50000 extant manuscripts in existence make it even more historically reliable than even documents concerning some of the wars in the era. Those documents are separated from the events by more than 500 years and there are only about 100 of them in existence.

You are sadly mistaken.

The Bible was compiled about six centuries after the last desctruction of the Great Library.

I am certain many Rabbis had copies of their holy works that they kept with them.

The bible is still in circulation because it has a large number of fanatics keeping it there. Just like, say, Spider Man.

belief in the bible and a desire to destroy all other books may well have been the reason for the library's destruction.
