I completely agree with the statement. For generations my family has come over legally to start a new life in the US, starting with my grandparents, and most recently my cousin. They did it the right way and have voiced nothing but contempt for the lawbreakers that are flooding into our society. And as far as "doing jobs AMericans won't do," that line is a bunch of crap. These illegals come in and work for $25 a day, a wage on which no American can survive on (these people survive by crowding 10-20 of them in a tiny $400/month apartment). In turn that lowers the wages of those willing to do the job. If the job payed even minimum wage, I'm sure many Americans would do it.

I get soooooo tired of stupid responses about how the Europeans who came here 400 years ago are illegal!
Since illegal means a violation of a law, I always ask such posters to cite the laws that were violated!
The stone age indians did not have any anti-immigration laws! Their concept was possession was the only requirements for ownership. The various tribes were constantly taking land from other tribes.
And don't forget about the indigeous people that the indians displaced!

Weren't the Pilgrams illegal? what about Christopher Columbus? Did Pocahontas ask John Smith for his papers? What about all those from Ellis Island? did they all get "registered"... are any of your ancestors from these places? should your whole family be sent back? What about Cubans and Haitians? Do you think about them too or just Mexicans?

All I know is that if I and 100,000 other Americans went into Mexico illegally, the government down there would do everything in their power to send us back to where we came from.

No. Jails in America are overcrowded. The illegal population makes up roughly 20%. Send them back.

Not in the slightest. I agree completely.
Note to mbarite: Native Americans also immigrated here, back when there was land connecting Alaska and the USSR. Everyone immigrated from Africa, originally, so I consider your comment specious and not well thought out.

No, I totally agree with that statement!!
All "ILLEGALS" need to be sent back to their country of origin.
There is nothing racists about sending ILLEGAL aliens back to their country of origin. They broke the law and they need to be sent home.

Not really. I would think the speaker is uninformed at best and a bigot at worst. (I'd assume the best).
Who would live in the U.S. illegally if there were a legal channel available? A masochist maybe.

No, it does not. All legal immigrants are welcome here, they aren't the problem. Illegal aliens - oh, excuse me - undocumented persons - are.
Just like I think all bank robbers should go to jail, all people committing insurance fraud should be busted. Why is it so wrong to ask for laws - all laws - to be upheld?
