All I know is that they help children with cleft palettes and cleft lips, and that they give all the money to the surgeries and keep none of it. Anyone know anything else?

It's usually for children in India and Africa [Where the cleft lip isn't rare]. There was a documentary last year about the kids getting the surgery. The donations pay for doctors, sterile tools, trip to the surgery site for the family, and the surgery itself. It DRAMATICALLY changes the look of the child. It helps them eat, breathe better and live better all together. It's called Smile Train because the results are so life changing its amazing. The kids actually get to smile again! I think it's a great charity! The link below describes it and has before and after pictures.

It's an org that helps pay for the surgery of cleft lips in children in poor countries.

I wanted to support this charity, but I looked online at www.guidestar.org for information and couldn't find them. So, I wrote an email requesting information to their U.S. office and they didn't respond. I like the idea of what they do, but without information I will not support them.
