A cake doesn't have sides it's round. No left and no right, just a continuous curved, closed shape.
Unless it's rectangle, square, triangle, anything with a flat side.

You said it was a round cake which means none of it has been eaten yet (except the middle maybe). Therefore all sides are left, i.e. not eaten, so there is no unique answer to your question - am I missing something??
