It is completely devoid of any details of the unseen world to come unlike Islam which gives so much details.

I don't know which New Testament you're thinking of, but mine says quite a bit about all of that.

Are you sure that you know what you're talking about?? The New Testament does LOTS of talking about the unseen world to come after we die- heaven. In fact, it dedicates an entire (huge) book, Revelation, to saying what will happen to the world in the future and all about what Heaven will be like. It artfully features what happens to believers, non-believers, and many others.
I believe what the Bible, the New Testament, and Revelation, for that matter, has to say with all my heart!! I pray that you're a Christian believer! Especially because of what awaits believers like me (and hopefully you, too, one day!)
Why not check it out!! There's sooo much to learn within the New Testament!

These verses from the New Testament describe Heaven in great detail.

"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just," Matthew 13:44-49

It definitely does, especially in Revelation. Also, man has a hard enough time understanding and obeying what God has revealed about this life, why do we think man would completely understand about the afternlife which I believe is going to be mind boggling fantastic. We will have new minds and new bodies in the resurrection which will enable us to totally understand and be able to function in the new kingdom. Our minds are very limited right now in these fallen bodies and probably would not be able to completely comprehend even if God did try to reveal these things to him now. Also, I believe God wants to surprise his children with some wonderful things.

The Qu'ran was written by Muhammad, a man, and a delusional man at that. He wrote down the mystical delusions of his OWN mind. The Bible was God inspired and spirit breathed, God guided the hands of the authors of the Bible, unlike the Qu'ran. Read Revelations! There is plenty about the after life.

I think the New Testament does describe "the Kingdom of God," which is Paradise, Asgard, etc.

It does provide some level of detail - check out Revelation, for example.
