when my daughter and her boyfriend started to date 5 years ago a friend of his gave them 2 puppys so my daughter got the one puppy in here name but he keep them at his house well they broke up and he will not give my daughter her dog what can be done

Possession is 9/10ths of the law. If your daughter has any proof of ownership or vetting, you can take it to court. If they've never been vetted, spay/neuter, etc. You're pretty much sh!touttaluck.

unless she renewed the license every year its hard to prove the dog is hers, is it in her name at the vet? maybe after things cool down he will see reason and give her the dog. have a few brutes go around with her and hold the bloke down while she takes the dog! haha.

Is there any paperwork with your daughter's name on it? Is her name on the veterinarian's records? If you want to take this to court, I would think you would need those two things to prove ownership.

who has been paying the bills and licenses for the dogs? who will CONTINUE to do so after the break up is done?

Call the police and show whatever you have to prove he is your daughter's dog!

If the dogs were littermates, they shouldn't be separated after 5 years. Sorry.

Go to small claims court and sue for the dogs...
Frivilous lawsuits win

Call the police. Your dog has been stolen. They will get the dog back if you know where it is.
