could a LORD not be able to create wings and fly to safety?

He never died, he's still in heaven waiting to come down again.

Christians are lazy folks and expect random prophets to die for them so they can commit sin.

The Lord would not need to create wings to fly to safety.

He was on a mission and that mission necessitated his death and Resurrection. He could have used His divinity at anytime for any purpose. That is what Satan's temptations were about, to get Him to use His divinity and thereby thwart God's Plan.

Because Jesus came to destroy Satan's power and to redeem mankind, and the only way to do that was to allow Satan and his minions to unjustly put him to death.

Under God's most basic law, no one, not even the devil, has the power and authority to take the life of a sinless and innocent man, let alone the only begotten Son of God.

The moment Jesus died, Satan was through, and he will never enjoy legitimate power or dominion here again.

Now, Jesus is the head of all mankind, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He rules on earth today through his church, according to his abundant grace and truth ... and one day Jesus will come again, to rule and reign personally, and forever.

i dont get this either, if god knew what was in the bible before he wrote it, then he would have know about the serpent and that jesus had to be crucified. Why would an all loving god plan such a horrible thing? For men to be damned and then saved by driving nails through jesus' hands and feet? Wouldnt this mean that jesus committed suicide?

He chose to die on a cross as fulfillment of prophecy and as payment for sin. God is holy and nothing unholy can be in His presence. We are unholy and are therefore separated from Him. Jesus’ blood covered sin so that we could enter into God’s presence.
Yes, Jesus could have called down angles to save Him but He knew that, though He would die, He would conquer death by rising from the dead three days later.

he had to die to trick the devil to go down into hell.

Since Adam and Eve sinned heaven was closed to everyone. Why I'm not sure, I'm not a bible scholar. But heaven was closed, so everyone who died went to hell, the people didn't belong there went to Abrahams bosom so when Jesus died, WHO NEVER SINNED went to hell he was able to get the power to open heaven up again to those who were supposed to be in heaven, so he had to die.

He died willingly so that we may live. It was the ultimate sacrifice, the ultimate expression of love. He could have stopped it, He could have denied who He was. I'm sure He could have sprouted wings, too. But He didn't, it was His choice to die for us. I think that's pretty incredible, and I'm so thankful I have a God who loves me enough to die for me.

well He could have stopped it all. He said He could call like ten thousand legions of angels (10000000 angels) at once if He wanted, but what kind of God would put His pain above the salvation of humanity?

He did it because He so loved the world, He did it for us

Of course, He could have escaped. But love kept Him there.
He did it so that you might receive the goft of everlasting life.
It is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

You just paraphrased one of the thieves crucified beside him. Christ didn't want to die. He prayed that "this cup be taken from me". Yet he understood that it was God's plan for the new covenant.

He was SUPPOSED to die. He made the ultimate sacrifice so we could all repent. Plus, he came back to life again, remember?
