We have a private patio in our condo but the entrance to the patio has a barred iron gate that everyone can see through when they walk by. (The rest of the patio is surrounded by a tall solid wooden fence) I want to make it more private by covering the gate with something. It needs to look nice though. Ideas?

1] Why not weave some garlands thru it? You could use some plastic ivy, flowers, etc.. Use floral wire to secure it in place.
2] weave some flexible fencing or lawn chair webbing thru
the gate
3] make a cover out of 'leather' upholstery and paint a picture on it

Tell your neighbor that you are having this problem and may have to call the pound to pick up this cat. Also, the pet stores carry repellants for cats. Spray it all over the door. I would be furious if this happened to me. The next time you see the cat, throw a pan of water on it. It won't hurt him, but it will teach him to stay away. I'm a cat lover, by the way, but I wouldn't put up with this.

At most home improvement stores you can by wooden blinds or vinyl ones that look wood, both come in vertical and horizontal, if you want to stay with the wooden fence look, also you can buy the wicker or bamboo roll up blinds.

What if you hung something decorative on it like a large wreath or other object? Just be sure to secure it in multiple spots so it doesn't bang when you open and close the gate or when the wind blows.

You can attach several layers of shear curtains at the top by using magnetics. They'll stay in place if there is a ledge or if not then some of that double-sided super sticky tape under the magnetics.
