well heres the thing most kids now know about it by the time their 7, and its just wrong but true, but i cant be sure your child knows so start by asking if they know about the b&b's. It's only natural for kids to behave that way or maybe tell them how a baby is made u know....guy girl etc which covers things but also explain the consequences of being young like having to give up things, school, college, social etc. If u have friends with kids or a coworker just ask them if they could help u explain

You might want to readdress the issue, but be sure that you don't approach it awkwardly or uncomfortably. Your child will notice that if it was awkward, and that might be what's troubling her.

You might just take her aside, one-on-one, somewhere where it's quiet and where there are no distractions, and just ask, "honey, do you remember that talk we had? Do you have any questions or concerns about it?" Put the ball back in her court to make sure she addresses all of her concerns.

*Sigh* Oh, the things that nobody told us when we decided to have families. :-/

Only talk about it when he is ready. It works best if you wait until he approaches you and answer the questions he asks only. That way he does nto get mroe than hecan handle.

i have only given my eldest that talk (he is 13) the others are too young.

if anything i think he respects me more for it, he is alot more open around me because of it, i think he trusts me alot more now, though he did blush something awful during the talk itself
