Sure he was a spiritual man. He loved the outdoors, wrote about it, and was a very cool and humble person . He must have put a lot of thought into his songs because they were never thrown together.

Denver was a Christian in his early life, raised Presbyterian and converted Lutheran, but often said he shared many beliefs with Zen Buddhists. He also felt he had a connection with the indigenous people of North America. In his memoirs, Denver cited that as a child he had some troubles at home, most notably with his father.
He even tried his hand at acting starring in the 1977 film, Oh, God! opposite George Burns

Well some of his songs do have religious overtones. He was raised as a Presbyterian but converted to the Lutheran church. He also claimed to hold some Zen Buddhist beliefs.

undesirable showing, previous chap. you have presented a quick record of human beings who're republicans having gay extramarital affairs. Ted Haggard isn't even a flesh presser. What you do not tutor is the ratio of gay to hetero extramarital affairs between republicans, probable because of the fact it would contradict the concept of this question, and make your infantile innuendo and wordplay seem much extra infantile. the reason it _seems_ that everytime a republican gets caught cheating it is with yet another guy is because of the fact it is gets extra play interior the media. not because of the fact of any leftwing bias, yet quite precisely because of the fact such an act seems to contradict the religious components of conservative political ideology.

I remember reading that John Denver believed we were all gods. That there was no "God" but that the spirit with in us was God. That we were all united in this spirit...etc.
I think that sounds like Hinduism.

He was a naturalist and gloried in and appreciated the beauty of nature....this is not necessarily indicative of a spiritual person....perhaps he was...I am not certain.
